SMPL MCHN is a production company for multimedia art focusing on creating ensemble-devised, original work by multinational and multicultural practitioners. Our message is rooted in developing imminent, topical ideas, and staged with a specific emphasis on movement and music. We do not operate in any formalized convention. We speak to audiences by creating immersive and evocative environments in order to dismantle the walls that “other” each other by race, gender, economics, and social hierarchy. The mission of SMPL MCHN, as storytellers, is to initiate social change in our world.
